Natural learning
Children learn their first language by listening, imitating and being understood long before any rule is explained. We honour that rhythm at every age, letting understanding come before correction and confidence before perfection.
Our philosophy
We draw inspiration from Montessori and Waldorf traditions and from the simple truth that people learn best when they feel safe, curious and connected.

Founder & Spanish Teacher
I’m Andrés, the founder of Your Spanish Mate Break. With a background in Primary Education and Law, I believe learning Spanish should be a natural, creative and meaningful experience.
I teach children, teenagers, adults and professionals, combining real conversation, interactive activities and practical situations to help every student speak with confidence.
My teaching experience includes working with international learners through organisations such as Cartus and Complete Minds Academy.
Let’s make Spanish part of your everyday life!
Children learn their first language by listening, imitating and being understood long before any rule is explained. We honour that rhythm at every age, letting understanding come before correction and confidence before perfection.
A carefully prepared space invites learners to choose, explore and create. Stories, art, music and hands-on materials turn Spanish into something you do, not only something you study. When curiosity leads, learning lasts.
We learn a language to connect with people. That is why every lesson, game and gathering is built around genuine exchange: listening well, speaking honestly and discovering the culture behind the words.
Our approach is inspired by Montessori and Waldorf principles, such as prepared environments, natural materials, rhythm and respect for each learner. We are not a certified Montessori or Waldorf school, and we adapt these ideas thoughtfully to language learning for children, teenagers and adults.
“Tell me and I forget. Involve me and I learn.”
Tell us a little about who is learning and what you hope for. We will suggest a gentle, practical way to begin.
